Our Purpose
The purpose of the Desert Food Safety Coalition (DFSC) is to bring together area agricultural industry groups to further collaborate on the subject of food safety in the desert southwest.
Objectives:
To collaborate further with Industry experts to examine and educate industry personnel on current food safety Best Practices.
To be a proactive force of industry individuals that seek to further educate and engage in open discussion on food safety issues impacting the Desert Southwest.
To utilize time and resources to further enhance and educate industry personnel on science based industry research and solutions.
To instill consumer confidence through community outreach and education on current food safety practices and standards.
Seek out science based solutions and answers to pressing food safety issues facing our industry.
